A Claude account — Any Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan — custom connectors are available on these. Works in Claude.ai on the web, the desktop app, and Claude mobile.

Connect your ad accounts

From your dashboard, click Connect Google Ads and Connect Meta Ads. Each opens the provider's own OAuth screen — a Google sign-in for Google Ads and Continue with Facebook for Meta — requesting read-only access only. Prefer a connection that never expires for Meta? You can optionally switch to a System User token instead.

Add ClaudConnect as a custom connector

Copy your personal connector URL from your dashboard — it looks like claudconnect.com/mcp/index.php/k/<your-key>. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, give it a name, paste the URL as the Remote MCP server URL, and click Add. The URL carries your private access key, so there is nothing else to paste — keep it secret.

Open a new chat. The ClaudConnect tools are now available in Claude.ai, the desktop app, or mobile. Try: "Show me all my Google Ads campaigns from the last 7 days with spend and conversions"

build Troubleshooting

"Couldn't reach the MCP server" when adding the connector

Make sure you pasted the full connector URL from your dashboard, including the /mcp/index.php/k/... path and your key. Remove the connector and add it again — this usually clears on the second attempt.

Tools don't appear after adding the connector

Start a brand new conversation — tools only load in fresh chats. If they're still missing, remove ClaudConnect under Settings → Connectors and add it again.

Google: "Developer token not approved"

Your Google Ads developer token is in Test mode. Apply for Basic access via Google Ads Manager Account → Tools → API Center. Approval takes 1-3 business days.

Meta: "Error validating access token"

Your Facebook Login session expired — these last 60 days. Reconnect from your dashboard with "Continue with Facebook". If you prefer a connection that never expires, you can optionally switch to a System User token.

Connector stopped working after rotating your key

Rotating your access key in Settings creates a new URL and invalidates the old one. Remove the ClaudConnect connector in Claude and add it again with the new URL from your dashboard.
