Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ClaudConnect ("we", "our", "us") operates claudconnect.com, a marketing analytics platform that connects Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts to Claude AI via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

ClaudConnect is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Anthropic PBC, Google LLC, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a ClaudConnect account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

Google Ads Data

When you connect your Google Ads account, we store an OAuth refresh token encrypted with AES-256-CBC. We use this token to retrieve campaign performance data (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, keywords, search terms) on your behalf when you make a query. We do not permanently store your Google Ads campaign data. Each query fetches fresh data directly from the Google Ads API and returns it to your Claude AI session.

Meta Ads Data

When you connect your Meta Ads account, we store an OAuth access token encrypted with AES-256-CBC. We use this token to retrieve ad performance data (spend, reach, frequency, conversions, video metrics) on your behalf when you make a query. We do not permanently store your Meta Ads campaign data.

Usage Data

We collect query counts per user per month for the purpose of enforcing plan limits. We do not log the content of your queries or AI responses.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

The use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs — including Google Workspace APIs — will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we affirm that:

• We only use data obtained via Google APIs to provide and improve ClaudConnect's features directly to the user who authorized access.
• We do not use Google Ads data for serving advertisements to users.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service (see Data Processors below), and only with appropriate data protection agreements in place.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless required for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with the user's explicit permission.
• We do not sell Google user data to any third party.
• We do not use or transfer Google user data for purposes that are unrelated to providing or improving ClaudConnect's features.
• We only request the minimum OAuth scopes necessary to provide our service (adwords and userinfo.email).
• We store OAuth tokens encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC and transmit all data over HTTPS/TLS.

4. Meta Platform Data

ClaudConnect complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We use the ads_read permission exclusively to retrieve ad performance data for authenticated users. We do not use Meta Platform Data for any purpose other than providing ClaudConnect's analytics features to the authorizing user.

Users may request deletion of their Meta Platform Data by disconnecting their Meta Ads account from their ClaudConnect dashboard, or by submitting a data deletion request via our Data Deletion page.

5. Data Processors

We use the following third-party service providers who may process your data on our behalf:

• Anthropic PBC (United States) — Claude AI platform. When you make a query, ad performance data retrieved from Google Ads or Meta Ads APIs is transmitted to Claude AI to generate a response. Anthropic does not retain this data beyond your active session. ClaudConnect is an independent service and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
• Hosting provider — Server infrastructure for claudconnect.com. Your account data and encrypted OAuth tokens are stored on our hosting servers.

6. Data Security

• All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC.
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
• Sensitive configuration files are blocked from public web access.
• We do not store ad campaign data — each query fetches fresh data and returns it directly to your session.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Disconnect Google Ads — removes your Google OAuth token from our system immediately.
• Disconnect Meta Ads — removes your Meta OAuth token from our system immediately.
• Delete your account — contact support@claudconnect.com to delete all data associated with your account.
• Revoke Google access — visit myaccount.google.com/permissions to revoke ClaudConnect's access to your Google account.
• Revoke Meta access — visit your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites to remove ClaudConnect.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information (email, hashed password) for as long as your account is active. Encrypted OAuth tokens are retained until you disconnect the relevant ad account or delete your ClaudConnect account. We do not retain ad campaign data beyond the duration of a single query session.

9. Children's Privacy

ClaudConnect is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on claudconnect.com. Continued use of ClaudConnect after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
